Who owns the copyright if I use BookForge?

BookForge does not claim ownership of your book. Your ideas, notes, drafts, edits, and final exported book remain yours. Copyright law generally protects human authorship, not purely AI-generated material, so you should review, edit, shape, and approve the final book so it reflects your own creative choices. If you plan to publish, sell, register, or submit your book, you are responsible for following the copyright, AI-disclosure, and platform rules that apply to your situation. BookForge does not provide legal advice.

Can I use copyrighted material?

Only upload or use material you own, have permission to use, or are otherwise allowed to use. You are responsible for confirming rights before publishing.

Should I review and fact-check the finished book?

Yes. BookForge helps you draft and organize the book, but you should review, edit, fact-check, and approve the final version before sharing it.

Can BookForge replace professional advice?

No. BookForge is a writing and book-creation tool. Legal, medical, financial, or other professional content should be reviewed by a qualified expert.
